Victoria Laptop Service was started from scratch in 2010. With a 5 year business plan, much optimism, enthusiasm and an attitude of the winners, basic tools, a dining table and lots and lots of work hours led to a story of success that is VLS today: the most well equipped and experienced laptop sevice in Victoria.
VLS was started almost 13 years ago as a home business. No major investment just basic tools. Soon the dining table in the living room became to small thanks to the growing number of customers and required the business to move to a rental apartment mid 2012. Every earned penny was reinvested in high quality equipment to help diagnose be more precise and the repair process much faster.
In Sept 2013 the business moved into a bigger and better located two bedroom apartment. The focus was on finding and establishing a good business relationship with the best, more reliable and fastest shipping suppliers, creating an inventory basis and building customers’ trust and confidence.
1st of August 2014 is a memorable day in the life of our small business. This was the day when the new storefront on Fort Street opened the door to welcome out valued old and new customers. 1000sq. ft space with top of the line tools, high-end parts and the best machinery money can buy. In 2016 we moved to our present location on Cook St.
All these combines with over 30 years of experience and outstanding customer service are the guarantee to success and a big smile when you pick up your repaired computer.
Victoria Laptop Service also stepped out as a proud sponsor of Victoria Conservatory of Music, the Pacific Baroque Festival and Saanich Waterpolo School.
We wish to express and demonstrate our support, respect and love to them. In our view school, culture and sports are three of the most important things of the younger generation.

Tibor came to Canada from Hungary in 2010 in hope of a better life for his family and himself.
He is a highly trained microelectronic expert with over 20 years of experience in repairing computers.
Tibor specialized himself in repairing laptops but wont say no to clients with desktop computers either. As a component-level technician he can save you hundreds of $$$ by repairing the motherboard of your precious laptop instead of installing a more expensive new one in it.
Being one of the #1 computer technicians and business owners in Hungary, his knowlegde and outstanding customer service made possible to have lots of clients not only from the Greater Victoria area but from Up-Island, Gulf Islands, Lower Mainland and even Washington State in less than five years.

Tibor also finds time to volunteer in both the public and local communities.He volunteered for groups like Saanich Waterpolo School as a network technician at their tournaments, for The Gardens at HCP as the orgnizer of the Classic Car Show at the event “Arts and Music at the Gardens” , at the Maitime Museum, at the Pacifique Baroque Festival.
His involment on the organized side of watersports let Tibor to be nominated and elected as the preident of Saanich Waterpolo School (2013-2015). He is also a proud blood donor.
Tibor is an A+ Cerified Computer technician, CTT+ Certified Classroom Trainer, Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist, Certified Ethical Hacker, Cisco Networking Academy Instructor trainer, Apple Certified Techician. He is constantly improvig his knowledge as new technologies emerge.
